Goalkeeping Clinics

Ages 12 - 16

Our Goalkeeping Clinics solidify technical foundations, train tactical skills through game-like exercises, enhance positioning, and introduce a competitive element to boost confidence and performance under pressure.  

Featured Goalkeeper Instructor, Akira Fitzgerald:

Akira was born in Japan and grew up in Baltimore, MD. He played collegiately at Wake Forest University from 2006 - 2010 where the teams went to four College Cups and won the 2007 National Championship. Akira started his professional career with the Carolina Railhawks (now North Carolina FC) and has played for over 13 years. For the last three years he has also been the goalkeeping coach for the Richmond Kickers pro team and holds his US Soccer B Coaching license.

 

GK clinics start again in November 2024. 

Interested in getting additional reps and work on shot stopping join our Finishing Clinic. 

Ages: Boys & Girls ages 12-16

Note: all goalies must bring their own gloves. Edge does not provide these. 

Cost: $30 per session per player

Days/Times: Fridays at 7:00pm

No training dates: May 24, May 31, June 28, July 5, Nov 29, Dec 27

Class size will be anywhere from 1-6 players, will also begin again in November 2024. Check back soon for more details.

Refund Policy
Edge does not offer refunds for any camp, class, clinic, party or field rental. If you decide to cancel what you registered for or if a session is canceled by Edge for whatever reason, a credit will be placed on your account for future purchase of any camp/class/clinic. The credit does not expire. Or if you prefer, we can enroll your child in a different camp/class. If there is a price difference, you'll just need to pay the difference. If it's a party, we'll work with you to select a different day.
