Bobby is a very experienced soccer professional with a diverse coaching background. As founder of Point Break Soccer Academy he applied advanced training techniques to prepare young athletes for  division 1 careers at major programs like Akron, Clemson, Syracuse, and the University of Wisconsin. Bobby also worked as a professional scout for the Stellar Group, identifying and advising potential professional players. As well as  led u-17 and 18 Beachside FC teams in Connecticut. 

Meet Nick, a seasoned coach with over 25 years of experience in the Triangle Area, working with CASL, Triangle Futbol Club, NCFC, and leading futsal sessions at NRCA. A former standout player, Nick won 5 State Championships with NCFC, represented North Carolina in the Olympic Development Program, and was named to the U-17 Region 3 Pool alongside future U.S. National Team players. At East Carolina University, he served as a 4-year starter, captain, and received multiple academic and athletic honors. With a passion for youth development, Nick has also led soccer clinics worldwide, including in South Africa, Haiti, and Costa Rica. He and his wife Maureen share a blended family of 8 children and are excited to help players find their edge!

Akira was born in Japan and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He played collegiately at Wake Forest University from 2006-2010 where the teams went to four College Cups and won the 2007 National Championship. Akira started his professional career with the Carolina Railhawks (now North Carolina FC) and has played for over 13 years. For the last three years he has also been the Goalkeeping Coach for the Richmond Kickers pro team and holds his US Soccer B Coaching license.

Mark, was the founder of The Edge Soccer Programs and is remaining on our coaching staff. He has over 25 years coaching experience. Many players whom he trained have advanced to the top level clubs, colleges, and professional teams. Mark has coached and trained teams for CASL (including U23s), TFC, Cary Clarets PDL, and Raleigh Elite. He was also an Assistant Coach for the Carolina Railhawks.
